When the idea of creating my own website came to me, I ran from it.

I questioned whether or not I had a big enough message to share or if I was even the right person to convey it.

As if my own voice did not fit into the narration of my own story.

I grew up blending in and being a part of things that did not belong solely to me, so I was unsure of how I would navigate through my journey of sharing my intimate thoughts and ideas with others.

I am and have always been a writer, singer, poet, author, and creative but one that has been inherently playing in the background of so many stories.

My whole life has been centered around dancing in the shadows of everyone else’s glory, here I have established a place for Kristy, this will be my dwelling place, a safety net crafted by my own hands, I will fall and unfold without restraint.

Here is where I will plant myself and take root in something beautiful.

Something genuine and real, this is my vantage point formed from my own opinion and cultivated by the honor I found in allowing my own light to shine.
